Archana Prajapati is working as a Programme Officer in waste and sustainability team with toxics link, where she is leveraging her passion and experience in environmental science to address critical issues in waste management. Currently pursuing her PhD in environmental sciences, Archana focuses on microplastics and organic contaminants, aiming to uncover their human and environmental impacts and develop effective management strategies. Archana has more than five years of work experience at the CSIR National Environmental Engineering Research Institute (CSIR-NEERI). She has dealt with projects on Persistent Organic Pollutants (POPs), Microplastics (MPs), waste management. Her scientific expertise complements her commitment to raising awareness about waste management challenges. She has made substantial contributions to the field by publishing research and review articles focusing on impact of pollutants for addressing environmental challenges.

Beyond her professional pursuits, Archana is an avid sketch artist, keen learner and loves to listening music.
