Alka Dubey is a Programme Coordinator in the Chemicals and Health team.

She is involved in research and policy work on Persistent Organic Pollutants, Endocrine Disrupting Chemicals, Mercury in cosmetics, Lead in paint, and other emerging pollutants. She believes awareness based on scientific data and logic is necessary for making informed decisions. 

Alka was associated with Toxics Link from 2013 to 2015 as a Programme Officer and after a brief sabbatical joined again as a Programme Coordinator in 2019. Alka has completed her M.Phil in Algal Biotechnology (Bioscience) and MBA in Health Science. Prior to working with Toxics Link, she had worked as a Research Scientist in a Biotech Company and has published several research papers in national and international journals.She is a passionate baker and gardener.
