Abstract:The first workshop of the series for bulk generators on E-waste Handling & Management Rules, 2011 was organized by West Bengal Pollution Control Board (WBPCB) & Toxics Link on 13th July 2012 at the Conference Hall of Paribesh Bhawan. These workshops were organized under the European Commission sponsored project on Establishing E-Waste Channels to Enhance Environment Friendly Recycling (WEEE Recycle). The workshop was organized for all banks and financial institutions and saw a good turnout form the representative sector.
