Abstract: Considering the facts, the President’s Secretariat called Toxics Link for the facilitation of community-based solid waste management in Rashtrapati Bhawan. Toxics Link with the support of the President Secretariat initiated the decentralized solid waste management following the concept of “Zero Waste Management”. The project was formally launched in July 2009 with an active participation of the residents of President Estate.
