Abstract:Toxics Link assessed the on-ground effectiveness of the single-use plastics (SUPs) 2022 ban, across street vendors, markets, small eateries, retail outlets, religious sites, and transport hubs. The study found that 84% of 560 surveyed locations across Delhi, Mumbai, Guwahati, and Bhubaneswar continue to use or sell banned plastic items.
