Chlorine Industry Economics of Conversion in India

This report was undertaken in the wake of the global phase out of mercury from chlorine and caustic soda producing Chlor-alkali plants. The challenges were brought to light in the voluntary transformation of mercury based electrolysis cell with membrane cell in the country.
