Yashrah, in her role as a Programme Officer, manages the development and implementation of communication plans for the organisation supporting its overarching holistic objectives, and individual research projects, events, and campaigns.

She has recently completed her Master’s in Development Communication from Jamia Millia Islamia. Yashrah has also worked with several non-profit organisations such as Students for Liberty, The Hope Project, and Sarkari School. As a part of her Master’s projects, she conceptualised social media and advocacy campaigns on environmental issues like plastic waste, waste disposal management, and air pollution and engaged with communities on the ground.

She finds solace in book pages and vivid images of a well-made film or television series. When not daydreaming about an imaginary world, she is also passionate about creating positive change at the individual, community, and grassroots levels. She is constantly on the lookout for new opportunities to learn, evolve, and make a meaningful contribution to society.
