Deepak Marathe is a Senior Program Officer involved in the Chemical and Health sectors at Toxics Link. He is involved in research work on persistent organic pollutants, highly hazardous pesticides, and endocrine-disrupting chemicals.

Deepak was previously involved in the CSIR National Environmental Engineering Research Institute (CSIR-NEERI), working on various research and developmental projects as a project associate (2016–2022). Deepak has completed a Ph.D. in Science from the Academy of Scientific and Innovative Research (AcSIR) (workplace CSIR-NEERI) and published many
research papers. In addition, he also worked at the Ambuja Cement Foundation (ACF) as a project officer (climate change) for sustainability in agriculture.

Deepak is a keen reader, a writer, an active listener, and an adaptor. He likes to travel in the mountains and valleys.
