ANSWER
MINISTER OF STATE IN THE MINISTRY OF ENVIRONMENT, FOREST AND CLIMATE CHANGE
(SHRI BABUL SUPRIYO)
(a) to (c)-Development of green belt is generally one of the stipulated conditions of Environment Clearances accorded to various projects under the EIA Notification, 2006. As per the information available the details of the industries which have developed green belt in Raigarh and Janjgir is given in the Annexure. Non- development of green belt against the stipulated EC condition is considered as non-compliance for which issuance of Show Cause notices is considered by the Ministry on case to case basis.
