Tripti Arora is a post graduate in Environment Management from Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University. She has done a six month research project from Gujarat Institute of Desert Ecology. She realized that she wants to work in an environmental sector where she can do her bit for the environment and joined Toxics Link right after her post graduation.
She has worked on Bio-medical waste management in States like Rajasthan and Haryana. She conducted research on a WHO project- Healthcare waste management status in South East Asia Region. She was involved in the Development of Guidelines on Cytotoxic Drug Management. She was also engaged in Mercury toxicity and pharmaceutical waste issues.
Tripti is now working as a Coordinator for IPEN (International POPs Elimination Network) South Asia Hub. She now works closely with all the Participating Organizations in the region and oversees their project preparations. She works with IPEN to identify, assess, and recommend organizations within the sub-region for IPEN project work, participation at regional and international events.
She is also engaged in Chemicals waste issues.
She is now working as a IPEN Coordinator, South Asia Hub in the Chemical and Health Programme.
