Toxics Link has been planning to employ different training methods for the medical waste training programme for a long time. Initially, the importance of the subject was not well acknowledged by hospitals, which didn't like spending much time on training. But now, increasingly, people are realising the depth of the subject as well as the time one needs to understand it. Thus, they are now open to spending more time training their staff on these issues.
