Bikash Chetry works as a Programme Officer in Chemical and Health Programme of Toxics Link, New Delhi.
He has done his M.Phil research on “Participation of Women in Disaster Management” from Department of Social Work, University of Delhi. He is in social development sector from more than a year and has worked with different national NGOs, research and academic institutes.
Prior Joining in Toxics Link he has worked in Joining Hands, Delhi as an Executive Resource Mobilizer, North Bank College, Lakhimpur Assam and IIM Lucknow, Noida campus as a Research Associate, where he did research on “Unbalanced Equation in Public and Private sector Schools of Dhakuakhana Sub-Division” and “Participatory Approach in Water Resource Management and River Rejuvenation: A study of Hindon River”. He has also published articles on Impact of Disaster on women and Awareness and Preparedness Regarding Disasters among Residents of an Urban Slum in Delhi in UGC recognised National Journal.
